PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Great Lakes Aerosol Loading Experiment (GLALE) was led by Dr. Herman Sievering, who investigated the loading of Lake Michigan, deriving from airborne particulate deposition. He measured the state and airflow parameters and aerosol concentration through the use of QueenAir, B-80 aircraft flights over the lake. The aircraft observations were made in complement with ship and surface observations.
