ISS at METCRAXII
The Atmospheric Profiling Group (APG) deployed an ISS (Integrated Sounding System) to Meteor Crater, Arizona, for the METCRAX-II field campaign in the fall of 2013. The system included our 449 MHz modular wind profiler radar, a GAUS radiosonde sounding system, a sodar-RASS, a mini-Doppler wind lidar, and one 12m meteorological tower. A large range of other instrumentation was also being deployed in the same area by a variety of other groups. The project is lead by Prof Dave Whiteman and colleagues from the University of Utah and Arizona State University.
